The Work to be constructed is located at Pardall Gardens at 6514 Pardall Rd, Isla Vista, CA 93117 and includes 7,273 square feet of renovation and improvements to the existing Pardall Gardens Park facility. Renovations will include the replacement of the existing access features, picnic tables and trash receptacles with ADA-compliant versions and/or features, removal of existing impervious surfaces and two block walls, a new sand filter swale for onsite water management, as well as new, drought-tolerant landscaping. One existing tree (Acacia dealbata, silver wattle) will remain in place. New physical improvements will include new lighting, an District furnished, contractor installed shade structure, several new District furnished, contractor installed benches, tables, and chairs. Improvements will also include permeable pavers and one pedestrian bridge traversing the sand filter swale. All existing fencing along the perimeter will remain.
